to be honest, i am longing for the simplicity of island living.
in a city life that can sometimes feel so fast-paced and quotidian, i find myself craving
a different type of routine. some of it comes with this time of year - the change in weather, in sun rises and sets, in the foods we labor over and the long winter pea coats we adorn - and some of it just feels new. it is safe to say that this little island getaway awakened a desire for something
more.

I definitely feel the same way sometimes. That I just need a different change of pace, just for some time. I could go for some quiet island life. But, at the same time, I know I really love the city. Such a conundrum.
I feel this way every time I go to the country.
