fresh beginnings. i love them. there's something so clarifying about a fresh start. the beginning of november - has a nice ring, doesn't it?
it's going to be a crazy month. i'm just hoping that things go smoothly and november is kind. i am going to be traveling a lot, which is exciting, but also jet-lag and crankiness inducing. i'll be honest, since this past summer, traveling has been difficult for me. i love going places, but there is something that comes with the stability of just being home.
in other news, my sister and brother-in-law moved to town! it's been ten years, and finally my sisters and i are in the same country. it is such an exciting time, and i am just so thankful for this family of mine.
how are things with you? thinking of everyone gravely affected by the hurricane. i love storms and the quietude they provoke, but sometimes, things can get downright scary. thinking of all you out there, and hoping you can find a bit of stability and warmth this weekend. xo

So fun that your sister is with you all again! And hooray for travel; November's a good month for it :) This month is going to be great, I can feel it in my bones.
Just stumbled upon your blog and I am excited to find an other Boston area blogger (I don't live in Boston, but up on the North Shore). MMM I agree I love fresh starts.. a new month a new start. good way to think about it. Traveling sounds fun, I am homebound this November as I just had a little babe and must care for her, so I am a bit jealous of all those who get to travel around the holidays... oh well, life calls and this phase is where I am at. Love my little dearly though! don't get me wrong :)
Anyway, I like your blog and will be coming back to visit again!
Hooray for fresh starts! I'm excited to hunker down and really work on some major projects this month. I can't wait to hear about all your adventures, especially now that your sister lives in town!
