december in san francisco.

every time i go to san francisco, i promise myself that i will see more and catch it on camera. one of my favorite parts of traveling is wandering aimlessly, camera in hand. i'm headed back to san francisco in early february (with a weekend getaway to big sur - any tips?) and i am so looking forward to snapping away. it is so nice to step away from the lens and soak the world up in the present moment sometimes, but i always long for photos to hold on to - bringing me back to that time and place, to the emotion behind it all.
