You’re a sky full of stars. Because you light up the path. I give you my heart. – Coldplay

I can’t believe this little baby is mine. I can’t believe he’s been with us for 13 days. What an incredible, magical, emotional roller-coaster of a time that I’d change in no way.

Just as I suspected, Milo was going to do things his own way. Born at 37 weeks and 1 day, he couldn’t wait any longer — and we are soaking up those extra 2 weeks and 6 days that we get to snuggle, smell, and love on him.

He was born at Newton-Wellesley Hospital after 12 hours of labor on Tuesday, June 7 at 12:20pm, weighing 6 lbs 3 oz and measuring 18 3/8 in long.

Just like labor and delivery, this postpartum time has been more beautiful, crazy, sacred, and miraculous than I could have ever imagined. Matt and I created this perfect little human and we get to spend the rest of our lives loving on him. I feel like the luckiest person in the world.
